This is Jim Merrill, a SPECTACULAR human being who manages Hires Big H. Jim started working at Litzas in 1968 and transferred to Hires in 1989. He took a two-year hiatus in the ‘70s when he served his country in Germany during the Vietnam War.
That handsome fella on the left there is Don Hale, standing next to his beautiful wife, Shirley. He is the founder of @hiresbigh and @litzaspizza . Don continued working at the restaurants until he was well over 90 years old. Today is his birthday. D
